Princeton Big Cats News Bytes, APRIL, 2004 Cookbooks are a?commin? Lion Don Smith announces the arrival of our books to sell by the end of this month. This has been a successful money maker for several years and we enjoy a following. Be ready!! Thoughts from the Prez. Well spring has sprung and the grass has riz and our thoughts need to be on outdoor things for our club to do. One thing that comes to mind is, for those of you not at the last meeting, helping the staff at the park district erect the new Lions shelter at Alexander Park. Some at the last meeting volunteered to help so I?m asking any that were not there and would like to help to let me know so I may add your name to the list. Another thought I?ve had is maybe volunteering to clean up the roadsides on a regular basis if an area is available. Think about it, we would be visible and help keep the area clean. Lion Jim is putting together his list for Tootsie Pop Day, May 7 & 8. Help would be appreciated. I know all of us are busy and will probably be busy around our homes with spring work but please set aside some time for projects of the club.Thanks. SIGHT & SOUND SWEEPSTAKES. Lion Jim Argo wishes to remind all to bring their tickets to the next meeting ? no kidding, they?re due!! Lion Leon Frank announces Princeton Lion?s efforts to date for our calendar year ending in June for eye care as: $2401 for adults and $1723 for children. Do you have a "minute hammer"? Are you ready to help at a phone call's notice? You should be, the Alexander Park shelter, our Lions Club Shelter, is being reconstructed this Spring! Your help is needed . . . be ready for that all important phone call. Tootsie Pop Day - May 7 & 8. Work on Lion's Shelter= on call. Our Boy Scout Troop 1068 meets every Tuesday at 6:30 pm, Masonic Lodge Basement
